Your personal use of the Emerging Tech Accelerator ETsource© database is, for the most part, anonymous and private. Here are the most notable privacy issues:
YOUR PERSONAL NOTES ATTACHED TO A COMPANY RECORD — are completely private at all times. These are visible only if logged into your account.
mySHORTLIST™ — your personal shortlist is private unless you are a member of an Innovation Decision Team. In that case, your top 10 company selections will be rolled up along with your colleagues’ Top 10 to produce a Team ShortList. This Team ShortList is visible only to members of Decision Teams that you are a member of. You have the ability to opt in and opt out of Innovation Teams at any time. If you opt out, then your myShortList rankings are no longer visible to the team.
“FLAG THIS AS INAPPROPRIATE” — If you select this menu option to call our attention to a perceived problem with the contents of a company profile, your identity will be known only to Emerging Tech Accelerator’s content managers.
TECHCONNECT™ — This is a method that allows you to anonymously communicate with emerging tech companies. You decide at which point in the dialogue you are comfortable, if ever, revealing your identity and contact information to the emerging tech company.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
During registration, subscribers are asked to provide personal profile and contact information. We use this information to help customize your site experience, to facilitate communication with the companies that list on our site, or to facilitate use of Emerging Tech Accelerator’s team decision tools.
Some of your information is used in compiling overall site analysis and reports. However, Emerging Tech Accelerator will not disclose, without your consent, any of your personal contact information, which consists of the following:
First Name, Last Name, E-mail address, Log-In, and password
You may edit or change your profile at any time within myETA™.
AFFILIATE WEB SITES
Emerging Tech Accelerator Catalog may affiliate with websites we feel offer valuable services to our users. Some of these services require registration. As a time saving tool, and to save our users unnecessary data entry we offer to pass your information to these affiliated sites.
You will always be notified when we intend to share your registration information, including your personal contact information, with another site. You will be given the opportunity to approve or deny the transfer prior to our making the transfer.
If you consent to the sharing of your information with another site, the shared information will be transferred to this site and out of the control of Emerging Tech Accelerator. We are not responsible for their privacy policies or how they collect or treat information about their users.
E-MAIL COMMUNICATIONS POLICY
By subscribing to the Emerging Tech Accelerator Catalog and providing us with your e-mail address you agree to accept essential communication concerning the services and operation of our service including, but not limited to: confirmation, additions or deletions to our core services, notifications of product enhancements, notification of service interruption and changes to this policy.
All e-mail communications from Emerging Tech Accelerator are sent by Emerging Tech Accelerator or by a service provider contractually obliged to comply with this privacy policy. We will not otherwise distribute your contact information to another company except as stated in the "Affiliate Sites" section.
All non-essential communications from Emerging Tech Accelerator will contain a link or instructions for opting out of future communications.
LOGGING
Emerging Tech Accelerator logs web activity to understand the usage of our services, diagnose problems and identify future enhancements to our site. In addition to logging the pages viewed, and features used, our logs will also collect referring IP addresses or /domain names of site visitors. This information is used in the reporting and analysis of our website, and for informing our users on broad industry trends.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Emerging Tech Accelerator reserves the right to change this policy as required. Subscribers will be notified of significant changes using the e-mail of record in their user profile. Non-subscribers should review this information prior to subscribing.
